RAF Leeming make a splash
Bedale High School and Leisure Centre played host to the Risedale SSP Aquathlon on 7th July. Eighty pupils from across the partnership took the challenge of swimming 25m and running approx 1km around the Bedale High School grounds.
Two pupils were set off every minute giving plenty of opportunity to run their competitors down. With great support from their fellow competitors and young leaders from Bedale High School all those that started the event completed it with a number of great finishes and finishing times.
Once all the competitors had completed the race the individual race times were worked out with a minute taken off the times for transition. The full list of results can be downloaded at the bottom of the article, the top three were as follows:
