Barton win close competition

Barton Playing fields kindly hosted the Risedale SSP Kwik Cricket finals. Five schools from the Partnership came to play for the opportunity to represent the Partnership in either the North Yorkshire county round or the Youth Games.

The competition was run in a round robin format so the players had a busy afternoon! There was great play from all teams involved with some great catches along with big 4's and 6's. The competition came down to the last round of matches with Richmond C of E and Barton having won all their matches. Despite some great batting from Richmond C of E Bartons ability to take wickets won out and it was Barton who won the competition.

Conrgatulations to Barton who will go on to reprsent the Partnership at the North Yorkshire Round on 24th June whilst the runners up Richmond C of E will go to the Youth Games.  The final results were as follows:
