Swimming Ability Day

The third P2P day took place on Wednesday 9th June at Catterick Garrison Sports Centre. The activity on this occasion was water based activities. Eight students from Thirsk and Risedale SSP attended the Swimming ability session which was run by Ryan Livingstone and supported by teaching staff at the Leisure centre.

The pupils were assessed on their ability to safely enter and exit the pool, their ability to float on their back and front and finally their ability to swim the four strokes. To finish off the session the pupils took part in float races.
